The Ford Bronco returned in 2021 as a completely different, off-road-oriented model. Since then, it’s continued to impress Trumann, AR drivers with its all-terrain skills and paved road comfort. The Jeep Wrangler is also an off-road specialist, but it doesn’t have the calm on-road manners or wealth of tech features you get with the Bronco. Central Ford has put forth the following comparison to explain the differences.

Standard Engine Power and Acceleration

You’ll have no trouble keeping up with traffic on Highway 141 in Jonesboro when driving the 2023 Ford Bronco. It comes standard with a turbocharged 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine, but two other motors are available, including a twin-turbocharged 418-horsepower V6.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler’s base engine only generates 285 horsepower. Stronger engines are available in the Wrangler, but you must pay more to attain them.

Off-Road Capability

The 2023 Ford Bronco has fantastic off-road chops, thanks to standard four-wheel drive, G.O.A.T. driving modes, and a rugged suspension. Brookland drivers will have no problem crawling through rocky canyons in the Bronco Raptor trim, which offers up to 13.1 inches of ground clearance for driving over obstacles.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler is also extremely off-road proficient, but it only provides a maximum of 12.9 inches of ground clearance.

On-Road Ride Quality

While it has incredible off-road skills, the 2023 Ford Bronco also handles well on paved highways in Paragould. Its nicely weighted steering and sturdy brakes keep it composed around corners. The Bronco’s independent front suspension limits its body lean to tolerable levels when navigating twists and turns in Marked Tree, AR.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler has a firm suspension that sends judders and jolts through the cabin when encountering rough pavement, and it struggles to reign in body lean around turns. Its light, imprecise steering makes it uncoordinated in day-to-day driving.

Cargo Space

You’ll want to have plenty of room to stow camping equipment or sports gear for off-roading adventures near Memphis. Four-door Ford Bronco models have 35.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 77.6 cubic feet with those seats folded.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is also a four-door SUV, but it only has 31.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and 72.4 cubic feet with the back seats folded.
