The 2023 Ford Mustang has a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) that alerts drivers when cars enter their blind spots. It uses two sensors located on either side of the rear bumper to detect vehicles that may be in your blind spot, allowing you to be aware of potential hazards while changing lanes or merging. It also monitors lane-change assist—a feature that helps ensure you don’t accidentally drift into another lane without signaling your intention.
Ford has also included a Pre-Collision Assist system in the 2023 Ford Mustang. This system uses a combination of cameras and radar to detect objects in front of your vehicle, such as pedestrians or other vehicles, even in low light conditions in Trumann, AR. If it detects an object, it warns the driver and can engage the brakes automatically if necessary, helping reduce the severity of any potential collision.
A Slip Start Control system is also included in the new Ford Mustang. This feature helps keep your vehicle stable when starting from a stop on slippery roads by applying brake pressure whenever wheel spin is detected. Check it out at Central Ford today.
